Ben Simmons Out Indefinitely With Left Knee Injury

Philadelphia 76ers young star went down with a left knee injury late in the 3rd quarter, of Wednesday’s win against the Washington Wizards. He had a noticeable limp but initial reports revealed there was no significant pain or swelling in the area.

Ben Simmons underwent an MRI on Thursday morning that came back clean. There were no tears or breaks but there was a slight patella subluxation. He’s expected to be out but checked in on as things progress from day to day , according to sources from the Athletic. An injury to Simmons could have happened a better time for the Sixers. They are playing seeding games Thant won’t really have an effect on the Sixers moving forward. So why not rest the NBA steals leader for a few games. For perspective this is the same injury suffered by NFL star Patrick Mahomes last season and he only missed 2 weeks.
