WYNDHAM CHAMPIONSHIP: Fantasy Plays, Picks, Predictions

Man what a week. The PGA Championship came and went. And your resident fantasy golf expert, continued to crush it with his picks and plays. I had a return of almost 9 times my money across the board of events I played. Although my main pick Bryson DeChambeau did not win it, he finished high enough that along with my secret pick (eventual winner Collin Morikawa) cashed in every event I played.

Onto this weeks Wyndham Championship in what will be a rainy Greensboro, North Carolina. This event is normally an event where players are chasing the points needed to make the FedEx Cup playoffs. This week we have a solid field of stars that are making the trip east. Plenty of top names like Brooks Koepka, Webb Simpson (the tournament favorite at 10-1), Patrick Reed, and Tommy Fleetwood headline this field.

I will anchor my fantasy lineups around one Justin Rose ($15800). He is one of the best ball strikers on tour. His approach and putting play was really good last week. These are the key characteristics needed at this course. I know your going to tell me he missed three straight cuts prior to his ninth place finish at the PGA Championship. I have a hunch here that this course fits him well and he is going to win the event.

Next on my list of must haves is Harris English ($15400). He has four straight top four finishes to his name. He is also 6 for 6 making the cut in this event. His best finishes were t-11 (2018) and t-10 (2012). He plays well at this event year in and year out. Do not skip him.

Kevin Kisner ($14600) is my final recommendation for this weeks event. He made the fifth most birdies last week. And if we have learned one thing in the approximately six weeks of fantasy golf articles is…. BIRDIES BIRDIES BIRDIES. That is the name of the game when it comes to fantasy golf. He also has had success in this event in the past, with top ten finishes in 2014 and 2016.
