The PGA Tour rolls into Boston this week with the Norther Trust Open. The event is being held at TPC Boston for the first time. It also has a star studded field, as all of the top 125 in the Fed-Ex Cup standings are in the field.
Last week was my first week not cashing during this run of writing about fantasy golf. I lived and learned from those mistakes and this week will be pushing forward with a big week, and a big cash. As always, all values are based off of FantasyDrafts website. They are my go to fantasy site due to smaller fields, great payout structures, and their fan friendly setup.
There is a large amount of value on the cheaper side of things this week. So we are able to anchor our lineups with both favorites to win the tournament. I am picking 12-1 co-favorites Bryson DeChambeau ($17200) and Justin Thomas ($17200) to put at the top of the lineups. First, DeChambeau won this event last year (although at a different course) and won the last event held at this course (2018 Dell Technology Championship). Justin Thomas has a win and a runner up finish in his last four events played. He is hotter than most on tour and a strong candidate to win the event outright.
Doc Redman ($12200) is a steal of a play this week. 5 top 30 finishes and a 3rd place finish last week makes him a great value grab. Next Mark Hubbard ($11000) adds even more value. He has yet to miss a cut since the restart. He also finished 15th last week so is playing great golf at the moment.
The final player I will give you is Scottie Scheffler ($14200). He had a huge run at the PGA Championship two weeks ago. After missing three straight cuts, he is on fire with a 22nd and a 15th place finish to go with the 4th place finish at the seasons first major. He is averaging right around 125 FPPT in his last three events and that is a recipe for success.
As always mix it up a bit, have fun, and MAKE SOME MONEY!
