The Philadelphia Eagles head into Week 3 of the 2020 season once again looking for their first victory. Last week they failed to be any match for the prolific offense of the Los Angeles Rams. This week they face rookie quarterback Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.
What Needs To Be Corrected
What doesn’t need be corrected honestly? For starters they could try covering somebody on defense. Anybody for that matter. The Eagles secondary was toyed with by tight end Tyler Higbee last week. They better have the back end sured up, or it will be a long afternoon.

Furthermore Carson Wentz has got to play better. The turnovers have to stop and he has to showcase some level of competent decision making. Anything less, and this season will be over before it starts.
What To Expect
The Eagles main point of emphasis this week should and will be getting to the opposing quarterback. They are facing a quarterback making only his 3rd NFL start. Don’t be surprise if the pressure is brought early and often. As for the offense, with the receiving core banged up, there should be a heavy dose of Miles Sanders. Run the ball, control the clock, and keep the Bengals signal caller off the field. If they do that they should put themselves in good shape for a victory.
I truly believe the Eagles can get off the snide this week. They have an opponent that is relatively young where it matters, and is still a ways away from being consistently competitive. The Eagles defense should lead the way and Philly should end up in the winner’s circle.
