The Philadelphia Union comes in off the heels of a disappointing 2-1 loss to Toronto. They look to get back to their winning ways as the host FC Cincinnati at home. They have yet to lose inside the friendly confines of Subaru Park and the will look to keep it that way.
The Union had several chances to get on the board in the first 45’ but couldn’t get home. Like wise Cincinnati had their fare share of squandered opportunities. However Brenden Aaronson did show off some fancy footwork and looked poised to keep it up in the second half.

It took a while but in the 59’ Ilsinho got the Union on the board with a great goal. He was able to confuse the Cincinnati goaltender and push one through to give the home team the 1-0 lead. The Union would add to their lead in the 72’ with a laser from Alejandro Badoya. Aaronson was credited with the assist, and the Union took a commanding 2-0 lead.
Not to long after that in the 79th minute Jack Elliot scored on an absolutely nasty header to put the home team up 3-0. Goaltender Andre Blake would do his part to salt the rest of the game away as the Union came away with the win.
