After a big win in Week 5 the Philadelphia Eagles come in to Week 6 on the heels of a frustrating loss. The Birds will try and clean things up and attempt to steal a much needed win from the Baltimore Ravens, who are among one of the best teams in the league.
What Needs To Be Fixed
The Eagles were absolutely awful on the back end defensively last week. So bad in fact, they gave up 3 receiving touchdowns to the same player. If adjustments aren’t made it’s going to be tough sledding for this team against one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Hopefully the return of Will Parks will be a remedy for the issues in pass coverage, and they will at-least have a shot.
What To Expect
Eagles fans can expect a lot of targets for the Ravens star tight end Mark Andrews. Andrews has emerged as the favorite target for quarterback Lamar Jackson, having 18 touchdowns in 36 games. Especially in the red zone where he is most effective. If the Eagles don’t figure out a way to keep him in check a win might be impossible.
No one in their right mind is picking the Eagles to win this game. Which is exactly why they will probably win this game. The defense will be improved with the addition of Parks, and subtraction of, the human turnstile that is, Nathan Gerry. Don’t be surprised if Philly ends up with some key stops in key moments.
