Eagles Announce Roster Moves ahead of Thursday Night Game

Coming off a loss at home to the Ravens, the Eagles suffered another rash of injuries on both sides of the ball. Whether it was Miles Sanders, Zach Ertz or Malik Jackson, Philly is now limping into Thursday’s game against the New York Giants. The team announced some moves as they prepare to play on a short week.

Practice Squad Protections

T.Y. McGill – Defensive Tackle

Let’s start with T.Y. McGill. The former Detroit Lion was active for the first game of the season against Washington, playing 16 snaps. With Malik Jackson sidelined with a quad injury, look for McGill to potentially be elevated before Thursday.

Prince Tega Wanogho – Offensive Tackle

As for Prince Tega Wanogho, this is his first practice squad protection of the season. The 22 year old rookie out of Auburn could be elevated as the Eagles offensive line has been decimated with injury all season. As it stands today, Jason Kelce is the only opening day starter left on the O-Line.
