The Philadelphia Eagles come into Week 7 about to face maybe their least formidable opponent of the season so far. The New York Giants are not a good football team, and are just what a team desperate for wins like the Eagles need. This starts a stretch of three straight division games that could determine Philly’s season
What Needs To Be Fixed
The Birds need to start fast on offense. It took way too long last week to get going. The result of which was a furious comeback being too little too late. If Philadelphia can put up some points early they stand an excellent chance of picking up a lopsided victory. One way to do that is protect quarterback Carson Wentz at all cost. It will be tough. But, even though they will be down even more pieces, they still have enough to get the job done.
What To Expect
After what we saw last week you can expect a lot of Jalen Hurts. Hurts was a spark off the bench last week and a catalyst for the Birds near comeback. Doug Peterson needs to have a handful of plays, if not more ready to go for the 2nd round pick. The more they get him involved, the more off balance the opposing defense will be.
This game has Eagles win written all over it. It’s Thursday night and Philly has a knack for showing up big in prime time. That and the Giants having no real offensive weapon is a recipe for success for the guys in midnight green. They should win this game without question anything short of a double digit win she be looked at as a disappointment.
Final Score: Eagles 27 Giants 13
