The Philadelphia Eagles injury woes continue as wide receiver DeSean Jackson was hurt late in Philly’s Thursday Night win against the New York Giants. The veteran wideout was seen grimacing in pain after his ankle was caught up underneath him on a punt return.
Time Table And Possible Return
It has been reported that Jackson suffered a high ankle sprain and is scheduled to have an MRI today to see if he’ll need surgery. The best case scenario is that it’s minor but would still put the former pro bowler on the sideline for several weeks. And make the Eagles, who also lost Lane Johnson last night(his MRI is to come as well), even more short handed.
