It’s Dallas week in the “city of brotherly love.” The Philadelphia Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Dallas maybe Philly’s most vulnerable opponent yet as their defense is ranked dead last in the NFL, and their offense is on their third quarterback.
What Needs To Be Fixed
Last week was a perfect example of playing down to your opponent. In Week 8 they have an opportunity to distance themselves from the rest of the division. Philly can not afford to take the Cowboys lightly. They can’t wait for Carson Wentz to save them in the fourth quarter. If they handle business a division title could be almost a guarantee.
What To Expect
You can expect the defense to be licking their chops. Dallas will likely be going with a 7th round rookie quarterback, behind center on Sunday. So, Philadelphi should be bringing the heat early and often. If they lean on the defense most importantly the D line, that is among the league leaders in sacks, they will be in good shape. Let Brandon Graham, who has sneakily had a career season go crazy.
The Eagles will probably play their most complete game of the season. At least they should. They have an advantage on both sides of the ball, that even this coaching staff should be able to easily exploit. The Birds should win big in prime time.
