The Philadelphia Eagles come into Week 11 fresh off the heels of a devastating loss to the New York Giants. The loss put a halt to their march to playoffs, and now they will look to rebound against the Cleveland Browns. The Browns are winning team this season and look to be fierce competition for the boys in midnight green.
What Needs To Be Fixed.
Plain and simple the defense and play calling for this team needs to get better. Going and entire game without a 3rd down conversion is an abomination. It must be addressed. Also getting run over by a team using their back up running back is also a cause for concern. If they can’t stay on the field on offense, or get off of it against Nick Chubb and company, it’s going to be a long day.
What We Can Expect .
For starters, we can expect a lot of uptempo play on offense. Picking up the pace and going no huddle was one of the few positives for Carson Wentz and the Eagle’s offense in Week 10. Also the running game has to be more consistent. Miles Sanders has the highest per carry average in the NFL. Please give him the damn ball! And quit with the cute stuff.
The Eagles will crowd the box and force Baker Mayfield to beat them. Mayfield has been erratic all season long and there is no reason to believe he won’t be on Sunday. If Philly can run the ball and stop the run they will be in good shape, and will come away with a much needed win.
