The Philadelphia Eagles go into Week 16 some how still alive in the race for the NFC East crown. A win over this week’s opponent the Dallas Cowboys, and a heck of a lot of help and Philadelphia’s Week 17 match up will be for all the marbles. But first things first they need a win against their most hated rivals.
What Needs To Be Fixed?
The two biggest areas of concern last week is the defense and the offensive line. If they can’t get off the field on third down or stop new quarterback Jalen Hurts from ending up on his back. It’s going to be a long day. Week 15 saw the Eagles give up 6 sacks a repeat performance will most certainly put an end to whatever slim playoff hopes this dumpster fire of a team have left.
What To Expect?
Expect a lot of pressure in the face of Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton. Philly is decimated on the back end so their only hope to stop the Dallas offense is with the front four. If they can put Dalton and company in 3rd and long situations then they have a better shot of not being exposed down the field.
The Dallas defense is horrible and Hurts and the offense have been on a tear. Don’t be surprised if the Eagles put up points in bunches on their way to a big victory. Another record day for the rookie is not out of the question.
