Music to my ears Ben Simmons to Joel Embiid

Philadelphia: A new era of Sixers basketball got on their way on Wednesday night lead by new head coach Doc Rivers as the Sixers took on the Washington Wizards from the Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia.

There was still a bad taste in their mouth after the Sixers got eliminated from the first round of the playoffs by the Boston Celtics and they wanted to come out and make a statement and that is what they did as they took down the Wizards 113-107.

Before the game, Ben Simmons & Joel Embiid would Ring the Bell to get the game started

Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid would show everybody that they have not lost their connection on the floor as it showed in the first quarter

Joe Embiid would take things over in the 4th quarter by scoring 15 of his game total of 29 points

Ben Simmons would ice the game with a Dunk off a nice pass from Seth Curry

Final Numbers:

The Sixers will now look to start the season 2-0 as they battle the New York Knicks on Saturday, December 26
