The 76ers pull out a win against the Orlando Magic, 116-92. This win pushes the Sixers to 4-1 on the season and is also the first win they have had in Amway Center since 2018. A very good offensive game was led by 21 points from both Joel Embiid and Seth Curry, the latter making 5/7 shots from beyond the arc. Ben Simmons looks to give Philly fans a good New Year’s by hitting his first three of the season, which also happened to be his first three attempted this season.
Matisse Thybulle also looks to fight his way back into the rotation with 9 points, all of which were in the first half. Also, rookie Isaiah Joe and Vincent Poirier made their Sixers debuts tonight. The Sixers look to use this momentum going into the new year and look forward to two games in a row against rookie LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets.
