76ers forward Tobias Harris has been awarded the Eastern Conference player of the week honors for the week of December 28th through January 3rd. Tobias helped lead the Sixers to a 3-0 record beating Toronto, Orlando, and Charlotte and scoring over 20 points each game.
Harris led the 76ers to a 3-0 week, with wins over Toronto, Orlando and Charlotte, scoring 20-or-more points in each outing. Over the three-game span, Harris connected on .571 (28-49) of his field-goal attempts and .563 (9-16) of his three-point tries, while averaging 23.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists per contest. Tobias is off to a strong start under his former head coach Doc Rivers in LA. Harris had one of his best seasons under Doc, and was also a player of the week while with the clippers. He also won the honors one time while playing with Detroit.
